In my paper, based on the relation between fashion and economy, what effect fashion designers have on today’s fashion is written with their history or features. The reason why I chose this theme is just I like fashion and am interested in fashion. It was very very difficult for me to read English newspaper, but I believe in that everything developed my skill.

Last Saturday I showed dance at the Studio Show Time. I joined 2 numbers. AYA number is jazz hip hop, and J’8 number is hip hop. Both instructors are fabulous and kind to me.
The start of last year, last January I started to go to the J’8 class. My friend, AOI called me. And soon she invited me to AYA class. Since then I have been to 2 classes. J’8 class is on Friday and AYA class is on Monday.
Especially I seldom missed AYHA class because I do like her dance style. I wanted to learn a lot. Last 31st December, I joined the dance contest with AYA and so on. We got 3rd prize. I was really really happy. I thought what a great time I could have.

Now I'm writing paper.
As a topic of my paper, I will talk about Coco Chanel at first. I introduce what I will write.
Most people must hear ‘Chanel’ and see the mark of it. Gabrielle Chanel was born in France, on August 19, 1883. Chanel’s family did not have money, and they lived in a poor house in a narrow street. Before she became twelve, her mother died. Then her father left Chanel, and she grew at the orphanage. Gabrielle had been staying there for six years. She was a fierce and restless girl, what is called tomboy. And she had noticed that she was different from others. At that time, a modern fashion and lifestyle came to the big cities of France with The Industrial Revolution. She couldn’t live in such the city, so Chanel repellenced to her unfortunate childhood which she was an orphan. She had a desire to want to let others recognize her ever since she was a child.
She graduated from the orphanage, and she started to work at a shop in Moulin as a seamstress with using her skills which she learned at the orphanage. Then she met a handsome businessman, and she went to Paris with him. He accepted her wish that she wanted to open a hatter. 1910, the hatter was named Chanel opened next door to present head office of Chanel.
She got some ideas from men’s clothes. At that time a jersey was used for men’s fashion and used as undergarments before she produced Chanel suits. The reason why anybody didn’t use jersey for fashion is that it is a soft and elasticity but it’s difficult to handle its appearance and weave. Chanel adopted some special quality of a jersey as couture fabric and she created clothes for modern women. After World War 1, she made clothes with jersey cloth finally.
These are what I will write on my paper. Also, I want to write about that she firstly bring ‘black’ to fashion. Everyone had a image which black is for mourning dress, but she broke the image.

Test of the Color License
Today, I took a last class of the course of the color license. I have taken it since this summer vacation. It was very long way for me. It’s held from 18:00 to 20:10 on Mondays and Thursdays. The reason why I decided to take it is that just I want to understand Color.
It was so interesting class for me. For example, red and green are approached each other and they are easy to be in people’s eyes. And black and white and gray are in same group, and they are called neutral color.
13th, Sunday, I take the test. I pass it. I must pass it.

about my paper...
English major students have to take a seminar when they become 3rd year. Mr. Tomei comes to take care of me. I choose ‘Fashion’ as a topic of my paper because just I’m interested in fashion.
At the first paragraph, the introduction, I wrote about the connection of fashion and economy. Two ways can tell us the fashion industry’s importance. The first way is through direct impact. It is the buying and selling of clothes as well as the manufacturing of those clothes. The second way is through other industries, so fashion affects other industries such as tourism because people travel to buy clothes at the actual place. Also, financial services where people borrow money to pay for new clothes are important.
Like this, I read some web pages or news, and then I change them to my words and write on my paper. It is so difficult. Both of reading English pages and news and to writing in English are difficult for me. Btu I feel I can get knowledge which related fashion or English through reading and writing in English.

It was fun
Yesterday, it was a lot of fun. I joined the dance show time of Kumamoto University’s School Festival. I danced as a member of Niwa’s Jazz Hip Hop Crew. Niwa-san is my senior. I had been to Kumamoto University to take his lesson once a week for about four months. I had a course for the color license test and went to other lesson on Mondays, went to part time job on Tuesdays, went to Niwa-san’s lesson on Wednesdays, had a course on Thursdays, and went to other lesson on Fridays. And on weekends, I had a part time job. It was so busy for me. I was often about to cry.
It’s about time to go to a job. It’s rainy now. TOO BAD!!!!!!!

Someday by Kumi Koda
Kumi Koda is one of my favorite singers. In her wonderful songs, I especially like ‘Someday’. I heard it first when I was a junior high school 3rd year student. I have loved ‘Someday’ since that time. I want to introduce the lyrics and try to translate into English.

Wow!

Work Shop!
I took a work shop last night. A great dancer, $eishiro-san held the WS. He is awesome. I couldn't follow his choreography but I could learned many thing. After that I took the dance lesson.

Kana-san is one of my favorite friends.
5 August I went to the party for Kana-san. She decided to go to Canada to study. She is so nice. I don't remember why we became friends but I think I'm really happy to be friends with her. I learned from her what to be kind to friends.
Even If she faces some problems, she can overcome. She's alright.

So first, the beginning of this month.
1 August, I went to Sushiro which is famous rotation sushi for the cheap cost. All of sushi is just 100 yen!!! Amaging, right? i often go there.
After that I had 31 ice cream!!!!! I ordered king size, and smaller size one was on that. so I was happy XD

Today, I have a dance lesson. I’m looking for it. I wanna dance soon. I’ll do my best. Also, I’ll perform at two cultural festivals in KGU and Kumamoto University.
Last Monday, I joined Fujisaki Hachimangu Autumn Festival. I joined just evening, but it was so exciting. I can’t wait for next year!!!

New semester STARTS!!!!
I’m so happy because I can see my friends. I’m sooooooooo happy!!!! Also I can see my teachers!!! Mr. Tomei, Mr. Beaufait, Mr. Branch, Mr. Morrow, and………so on. Oh, I can see new exchange students too!!!! I have already been friends with Jonah and Yusen. But, I don’t know they remember me……….(ToT) I’ll try to talk to them.
